Foxgloves along the Dart..

Walking alongside the River Dart from Totnes to Dartington, the riverbank is covered with these pale purple & pink foxgloves. It's a strange thing to have nature on one side & then 'Bansky' style graffitti-d walls on the other. At the weir on the way, a Heron stood in the flow, trying to catch fish, but was competing with some canny gulls & a couple of otters. My 2 holiday companions were scared witless on the way back when a runner came stealthily up behind them; I'm not sure who was more shocked! There was screeching all round....
