Beautiful Wishes...
Look, here is a present that my mum's friend R gave to her. Isn't it lovely? It is because she wishes my mum lots of beautiful things. Mum is so chuffed with it, it is going to live beside the bed she said, so it will make her smile everyday when she wakes up :-)
We went to R's house this afternoon. We met her at the end of the road when school had finished, so I walked home with her and my new playmates Z, A and baby B. I was VERY excited to see them. I knew that it meant I was going to have fun, fun, fun in their lovely garden (and try to remember not to escape into next door this time!)
We went charging in and dashing to the back garden. I shot out onto the patio and then I thought.......UH OH, what on earth is that?......... I stopped in my tracks, I was terrifed.....there were CHICKENS in the garden. They were VERY scary. I have never seen chickens before. They make very wierd cluck, clucking noises. I woofed and woofed at them from the patio. Then mum and Z encouraged me on to the grass to play with my ball. I REALLLLLY wanted to play with my ball but I really didn't like the look of them. I edged my way towards the fence they were behind, I got closer and closer.....mum was telling me to LEAVE IT very sternly but you know me, I don't listen to mum much! Then....all of a sudden........ OOOOOOUUUUUUUWWWWWWWWWW, I leapt in the air. That fence had a nasty nip in it :-( I DID NOT like that much at all. I ran to mum and tried to jump up for a cuddle and then I ran away up on to the patio and wouldn't come back and play. Not even for my ball.
Mum, Z and A were trying to tell me that it was ok, I could go and play on the big bit of grass, but I really wasn't convinced. So we all went indoors and I had a good sniff around instead!
Maybe I will go back and try again another day. I might stay well away from the chicken fence though!
Bye for now
