Pudding Night

Tonight I went out for a meal to a really nice restaurant with my best friend Rachel, her husband Chris and Rachel's parents. The restaurant had a pudding evening and there were lots of puddings to choose from. Unfortunately after eating a goats cheese and thyme souffle and mushroom ravioli in a spinach and parmesan sauce I could only manage two of the wonderful puddings which were panna cotta and lemon tart. All very delicious.
After the meal I went back to Rachel and Chris' flat (I stayed over as public transport between their place and mine isn't great at night) and we watched The Matrix 3 with their flatmate. He is, I discovered, a very funny guy so it was nice to sit and laugh at stupid things for a change. Seems like ages since I did that.
