A Different Daddy Day

Today we strayed from our usual zone of safety as we went round to a friends house. They have two children the same age as Toddler and Baby and so are used to the mayhem. The children have known each other for the whole of their little lives as we are NCT friends.

Anyway I think the excitment was all two much for them all at first. This was probably not helped by me bringing round jam tarts and jammy dodgers. I think it must have been an hour before we had a conversation that was not about how manic the children were.

Anyway we all made a break for the park, and the run around was what they all needed, even if Baby did insist on setting up camp in a swing for the duration. Found some conkers on the way home, its autumn already, and we still haven't had our summer holiday yet.
