Bearing in mind that Britain "Won" both World Wars, I find it strange that, with all the many British War films produced, The British film industry is in such a bad way.

Germany's film history is quite healthy, I believe, and they didnt have the advantage of making 100's of victory movies.
Although I know the German's have made a few, I cant help wondering if Britain would even have a film industry if they didn't have this subject to pull from.
