Basket Case

In my imagination, the hallway outside our kitchen is a kind of Family Life Support Centre. A "place for everything and everything in its place" kind of place.

In reality, it's usually a tip.

So, naturally, with a new work project requiring some preparation, it was really essential that I faff about tidying the dresser first. I have ensured that the football gloves aren't mating with the rugby gloves, I have cleaned and deodorised shinpads, I have put all our cycling helmets in the same place (why do we have more helmets than heads?). I have reinstated the spaces for each child's homework.

So, all is well in the world and now I really get ready for the meeting. Ducks in a row, as it were.
