Croquet Lawns

This afternoon was spent at the Ashbury croquet lawns preparing them for the opening day for the summer season. 3 hours to mow the greens and the general side lawns. Was hot work today, 21 degrees celcious. I like the pattern of the lawn when mowed one way then the other with a reel mower. I get great pleasure to see the lawns ready like this, a job well done is a pleasure to look at.
