Sun and fennel
Today was the first day teaching for me this year. It's always an anxious time. You probably won't believe that most teachers get very nervous before the start of a new term - somehow you think you'll have forgotten how to do it!! Of course, generally speaking it all comes flooding back.
Have to say though that I used a lot of energy and drove home feeling totally whacked. Then realised that I hadn't taken a photo for my blip. The sun came out as I was driving home and, after making a cup of tea, I went out in the back garden with the camera.
The sun was quite low giving some lovely effects. The poppies were looking good and the Buddleia is still attracting the odd butterfly but I settled on this of the fennel. I blipped the fennel in flower earlier in the season but now it is going to seed (better cut it down before I end up with even more fennel!!!)
Apologies once again for not including any other photos. Just too tired to upload and link them.
