Face of a Fan(atic)

Well done to the home team! The All Blacks start the cup with a decisive victory over Tonga...although I do think that the Tongan haka is better than the NZ one.

We had our inaugural RWU (Rugby Widows United) gathering for the opening ceremony. My husband with his free tickets to the game, the host's husband was in at the Viaduct (which is apparently CHAOS!), and then this one's dad did actually join us. He gets much kudos for braving the cackling hens.

The Eldest was insistent that she wanted to watch the match...so she's only just gone to be around 10.30pm. She was glued to it. Her Dad will be proud...considering I'm pretty ambivalent, but am enjoying the atmosphere that has been turned on here in Aotearoa.
