An eye on nature...

A small Toroiseshell fluttered by...

and landed on the path in front of me. The sun had crept through the clouds and caught the colours on it's wings. We have not seen many butterflies up this way this year, so I was really pleased to see it. It opened it's wings for me and stayed long enough to get half a dozen shots.
It's been a busy day today so I was really glad to find todays blip so quickly!

Thankyou everyone for good wishes and comments on my 200th blipday yesterday, its lovely to feel that warm, kind, and encouraging response from you fellow blippers...
