How did I miss this?

I was in the city centre for a meeting this morning. I came out the shopping centre and walked down the street to the meeting. It wasn't until I was coming back from the meeting that I noticed the row of buildings had been demolished. How did I miss that when I exited the building the first time???? Cranes, builders, noise............obviously on another planet!! Thank goodness it's Friday! Have a good weekend everyone!
