Gravestone in the ground of Melrose Abbey

A wonderful day in which a fellow artist ( US beader) and I visited both Rosslyn Chapel and Melrose Abbey. It's great to do so as we only need a brief word about colours, shapes, or textures and that is enough for the other one to know what we mean. Seeing these beautiful places through the eyes of somesone who has never been there before gives me a new perspective too.
This gravestone has lost the battle with the ivy long ago. Any names or inscriptions have disappeared but it still makes for the most scenic picture I took today.
