Lime Street

A good chance to take some photographs of the Liverpool city skyline today, from the roof of the former Royal Mail sorting office on Copperas Hill. This view features the roof of Lime Street station.

We were given a tour of the empty building today: Liverpool John Moores University has bought the building and we are all involved in thinking how the enormous space could be used. In estate-agent speak, it "has development potential".
