The long journey

Silent sea

On a wave of spontaneity, after work I decided to drive to Weston super Mare. I needed to smell the sea.

It was just what I needed to get my mind off things. I am glad I live closer to the sea now, it makes me feel more at home. When I was living in Bari, walking along the seafront was always the best cure for my worries..I could walk for hours with my dog and my problems always managed to fade away, as if by magic...and it still works (hopefully!)

By the way, isn't this weather great??????

Chris

"I was happy in my harbour
When you cut me loose
Floating on an ocean
And confused
Winds are whipping waves up
Like sky scrapers
And the harder they hit me
The less I seem to bruise

And when I
Find the controls
I'll go where I like
I'll know where I want to be
But maybe for now
I'll stay right here
On a silent sea"
