State of the Union

This is the Union Canal at sunset this evening. The day was so lovely and I hadn't had a chance to get out at lunchtime, so I made a special effort this evening, abandoning Mrs42 to the TV.

Thinking about a title for this on the way back made me think about the ongoing political storm about the potential referendum for Scotland's independence. Its all a lot of nonsense ... better not start me otherwise this will turn into a rant. Suffice it to say that I am not a nationalist.
