The wrong side of the Pennines...

A busy day which started in Yorkshire and finished off with fish and chips at Compo's cafe and a nice pint of ale in Holmfirth, just up the road from my parents-in-law's in Lancashire. We stopped on the way so I could take this photo, it's Saddleworth Moor in the foreground looking down to Dovestones Reservoir.

I wonder what the ale is like in Japan... think I'll miss Yorkshire tea and a decent pint. Sushi and Sake are probably healthier.
