A more timid pet
This is Mr Wallaby. Or Mrs Wallaby. I'm not sure. Anyway, he/she lives in our area, and can often be found grazing and pooing in our garden. And this is the first shot I've managed that is at all halfway decent, so I'm pretty excited. At one point he/she was standing in beautiful light, and I was halfway up a scree-y bank, in ugg boots, clinging on to a tree, aiming the camera with one wobbly arm, trying not to slide back down the cliff. For some reason the camera just didn't want to focus... Can't imagine why. So I stalked him/her across the garden, and got this just before he/she hopped off back down the hill and into the scrub.
Anyway, must rush off, people to see, places to go. Get to go to the movies with a good friend tonight. We have a history of seeing odd movies together, but she's first year out of med and spends her entire life at the hospital at the moment, so this is a pretty exciting event. We're going to see Cowboys and Aliens, and I'm irrationally excited about how ridiculous it's going to be.
