Heron

The season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is also the season of peak excitement for birdwatchers. A quick trip to Lodmoor reserve in Weymouth yesterday lunchtime didn't reveal the hoped-for little stint, but I did manage to get a shot of a heron. I think it's a young bird, fledged this year.
