Pollen vs. mosquitoes

There's still a conspiracy against my well-being. My Production Design class is in a big warehouse-like room with woodworking equipment so there's sawdust everywhere, and I doubt anyone ever cleans that room so it's really dusty too. I sat there for three hours, trying not to sneeze. It was torture. Every time spring rolls around and pollen starts floating around, I become hyper-sensitive to dust. This year it has gotten substantially worse. Some people think it's because of global warming. Yes, that must be it, for global warming is the reason behind every single problem now.

While I sat in front of the T.V., cursing the very existence of pollen, a Verizon commercial came on. In it, several people were at a campsite, and they were covered with mosquitoes. I immediately felt grateful about having to deal with just pollen instead of mosquitoes. I'd take allergy attacks over mosquito bites any day.
