All-day rain, so into the kitchen. Roasted vegetable quiche for lunch, and baked gnocchi with cheese sauce for tea. Daft though it sounds it was my first ever attempt at making a proper white sauce, and it was a roaring success. Feel like we could notch up the heart attack factor with a little more cheese though. Perhaps next time I'll even attempt to make the gnocchi! I'd say back on the healthy-eating wagon tomorrow, but we're off for a champagne brunch...
