National Museum of Scotland

Prior to my trip to Scotland I caught a piece on the news about this place, and that it had recently been re-opened after an extensive makeover and rummage through their collections.

What appealed to me was the fact it was going to be displayed in the same manner which the Victorians did their museums (the museum originates from that time), which basically meant, chukcing everything out on display, and not being a specialised museum we get these days.

The makeover was excellent and so was the place and facilities, however I found it all a bit to random, which was a shame beause I was looking forward to it.
