York Minster
After a quiet day on Tuesday ... we went to York. I've not been for quite a few years (doing the tourist trail) and never with the joys of either a digi camera or social media.
The weather stayed dry. We left the Minster until the end. We visited The Shambles, St Margaret Clitherow's house. The York Market, The Christmas Angels shop. Found time to find another barm cake (now officially a fan:) Saw The Golden Fleece (the most haunted pub in York ... but is mixing spirits a good thing?)
It was cameras go crazy ... and I even lay on the pavement and thought of York Minster through my weensy lens. Like the Sagrada Família in Barcelona, unless one has a sonic camera or a helicoptor (or both) its so hard to do the Minster justice.
I decided on this one (took whilst standing). Its amazing on the inside and just as impressive on the inside.
I've added some additional links to the places I visited in York (including the Minster) ... enjoy:)
