Blue, red and green

Our Helenium 'Moerheim Beauty' (a kind of Sneezeweed) looked stunning against the blue sky today.

We had a top day at the allotment - weather was summery and nice. M was pruning one of the apple trees, while Z was moving a fern, mowing the lawn and doing some general "tidying up" in the perennial borders.

Our neighbours T&E and their kids D&S turned up unexpectedly - very nice!

Now we're off to dinner with N&R.
