Iconic Edinburgh View

Thanks for the kind comments about yesterdays blip. Appreciated.

Been meaning to blip this for some time.
At last minute, as the sun, clouds looked promising, I headed
to Calton Hill to capture this iconic Edinburgh view.

In the foreground of the shot is the Dugald Stewart Monument.
Behind it you can see Princes St and the castle.

I didn't have much time, and Calton Hill was awash with tourists and photographers.
There's definitely a better shot to be had. Need to wait for the sun to move round a little.
