"United Against Facism"

Thought I'd pick a topical blip for today despite lots of lovely photos from Arthur's seat with some friends and their dogs. Even the shoppers were at risk of being outnumbered by police on Princes street today with measures taken to keep order in the city today with the SDL's disallowed march (which still took place) and the anti-facism group's protest reply. This was taken as Unite Against Facism marched down Princes street with banners such as "buy a haggis bhaji"!

All in all less exciting than the police presence implied although that has to be a good thing, in fact the police were so bored that they serenaded a bride in a horse drawn carriage with their sirens!
