Hustley bus

I've had a full and totally satisfying day.

It struck me that in the midst of hustle and bustle, there are often little havens of tranquility - as over 400 people found as they came into the church that a group of us had put on an exhibition in today.

This convent at the end of my road is the epitome of this for me. Right close to the city, protected by a high wall, is a sanctuary of peace, prayer and contemplation. Regardless of the hurry that those outside are often in, those who inhabit the convent run to their own schedule.

I've never been in, and there's something about it I find mystifying, but I like that it's there.
