American Snout

Out with my micro lens, 105mm, this morning. Lots of American Snout Butterflies fluttering around in my Mexican Bird of Paradise bushes. It is mating time and they are fairly easy to photograph. You know when you have a good shot when you can see the lines in their eyes. I was surprised to see them feeding on the stems where the blooms fell off. Check out my Blipfolio for this blip under Nature Shots.
