View from the windy hill

A lovely, sunny day out and about in Orkney with Heath's friend Alaistair, who Heath bumped into on a dog walk. They worked together at the academy many moons ago and had lost touch. It's a small world sometimes.

So, we had lunch in Kirkwall at Alaistair's and met his wife, who played the fiddle for us. She's very talented. Then Alaistair took us in the car to a tomb on a hill, which we explored via ladder and torch. We then walked up above Kirkwall amongst the giant wind turbines.

Later on, we explored the broch of Gurness.
