Miners Banner

Today as part of the Heritage Open Days we went to Durham. We had a tour round Old Shire Hall which was very interesting with beautiful tiles, plasterwork and stained glass. On the way home we stopped at Bowburn as there was a display of Miners Lodges Banners - they are fascinating with powerful images.
