Pink magnolia stellata

Pink petals of magnolia stellata or star magnolia - had a white one for years, earthquake put paid to that, this pink one is in a neighbours yard, and hangs over the fence, so I get to share it.

Pretty in a wild rather unformed way - a lot less formal than the big cup magnolias but with it's own charm

The white backgrounds are because the sky has been grey and it's been so windy, so that if you have to have a boring sky might as well make it a feature!
