After a week of rain the river's water levels were up to paddling level. We decided to make a quick trip down and it turned into quite the adventure.

For those who do not already know...an overturned kayak filled with water up against fallen trees in rushing water is very difficult to dislodge. Fortunately, all ended well and we emerged with nothing more than a bruise or scrap here and there.
