Maize cobs
A blustery day outside. N phoned to say what treatment he was going to be given. This is a setback. One can only hope positively.
Made a fish pie out of cod and smoked haddock for lunch. Afterwards took the dog down to the maize field. In October the whole of the crop will be shredded and put into the silage pit with what is already there of the grass crop. Luckily there is not much damage yet to these plants by badgers. They will travel miles to pull down the greenery to get to the cobs which they love to eat.
