Seven Spot

It was forecast to rain all day today, but the morning turned out to be warm and sunny, so we made the most of it and tried to sort the garden out. Whilst I was sorting the lavender I came upon a number of these little things. Carys loves them but I did manage to make her leave these ones in peace.

Still have to do the front garden and the last metre of the back flower bed, but other than that we are set for autumn/winter. We stopped fpr two reasons, the brown bin was full and the heavens opened on us, but it was about 3pm by then.

Carys is now in bed for her last sleep before school. She is so excited I am surprised she has gone down so easily.
