Flowering in autumn

Just before cats and dogs rained out of the threatening clouds I captured this lovely flower with the scientific name Colchicum autumnale.

In English the name is something for everyone. I found three names:
- Autumn crocus
- Meadow saffron
- Naked lady

The choice is yours. The three of them are okay ... ;)
