The Big Day - Pedal 4 Scotland

So today was The Big Day:

Up at 0530 to get to Murrayfield for 0630 and to Glasgow for around 0800. Set off cycling at about 0915 and peddled my wee heart out until arriving back at Murrayfield around 1500!

Was a bit tough at times - particularly the epic gradient after gaining a kilo or so at the Avonbridge lunch stop - but managed it with much more ease than I envisaged. Actually thoroughly enjoyed it!

Raised £195 for Cancer Research UK so far and very proud of myself and all the other Peddlers! Thoroughly recommend it for any budding cyclists!
