More feria

But not having a proper camera is driving me crazy. There is, to night, also the most spectacular forest fire going on about a kilometre away - blood-red skies and black smoke plumes, but my old back-up camea now has no battery left. I really need to get something better.

We have phoned our friends who live v near to the fire - they will come for refuge in the night if it gets worse. There is a high hot wind and so we hope it won't turn....
