Rememberance

I remember watching this news 10 years ago in my classroom.
As a kid I couldn't really process what I was seeing on the news,
And I just sat in my chair, staring at the TV in shock and confusion.
Yet as I watch this news again now as an adult,
I can only cry for the family and friends who lost a loved one that day.

I close my eyes and pray
For the broken-hearted.
I pray for the life not started
I pray for all the ones not breathing.
I pray for all the souls in need.
I pray.
