The Gift

There are gifts and lets face it, GIFTS.

It was offered to us a while ago and it came to fruition today. A Subaru Forrester gifted by Andy''s Mum, Christine.

Can't quite believe it is ours and certainly do not feel worthy of it. It will make me feel hot under the collar (not to mention buttocks when the under seating heating malarky is on..) Words cannot express gratitude for such a huge thing, but I could tell that Christine was excited and chuffed to be passing over her much loved vehicle, that she just couldn't justify keeping for the amount she used it.

I could bang on about spec and stuff like that, its a tasty car. But it's the enduring generosity and love our family shows us and continues to show us, not just with huge material gifts, that makes me warm inside...

I am not ACTUALLY going to drive it by the way, just sit in it when I am bored of sitting in my new kitchen. Jesus, I am a lucky girl.
