Sunday Night Football
Well, as predicted this wind is fair picking up and expected to get worse overnight and tomorrow. What a great day to have off work! My trip out with the camera will be 'weather permitting'...it might well be a trip to the supermarket and barber instead - wow.
It's Robs' birthday later this week and we took her and a few friends out for an early birthday treat today. Ten pin bowling, girls versus the boys. There were four girls and Lee....against me. Funnily enough, I lost! We then went for a pizza party and the girls got to make their own which looked like a lot of fun. A Robyn birthday blip will follow this week - a lot of the photos I took today have her friends in them and I haven't had a chance to ask their parents if I can post these, hence the subject for today...
With the birthday treat, I had to call off playing football tonight, but popped down later to catch the 2nd half. I must have been an unlucky omen as after being 2-0 up at half time, the other team came back to draw 2-2.
I know this is a bit blurry, but like I've said before on here, I enjoy the practice. My team mate Iain (red and black) is our striker. I have huge respect for sports photographers, fast paced, makes it tricky to follow and the shot you want can be gone in a split second. I would really love to get a chance to cover a match one day - keep on practising!
Have also booked on to a portrait course after seeing an offer on Groupon. Very little experience of potraiture, so looking forward to it.
