Moving Pictures

Louis needs a picture of himself, from when he was a baby, for a school project he is doing. So we had great fun tonight looking through old pictures on the computer. Alana and Louis found some of them highly amusing.

We stumbled across a few videos I'd taken on my ancient camera. These brought the biggest laughs, especially one where Louis releases some trapped wind! I've always thought that there is something about moving images which can't be captured with a still photo - not by me anyway. The way people move, their mannerisms and how they sounded. They can be really poor quality like this one and still be amazing to watch. We found another of Alana when she was about two years old collecting ballons. Its wonderful to hear how she sounded.

So I resolve to take a few more videos. I'm not bothered about the quality - I don't have the space to store HD. I just want to capture some video of them before they are all grown up. One video clip per week? Maybe.
