canoe trip

After a canoe trip nearby in my dad's handmade cedar strip canoe, Steven and I went to the Cortez Kitchen. I had taken lots of photos but I liked the perspective, detail and light here. Viewing large could definitely make you thirsty.

Unfortunately I need to share that the news on my father's cancer after his visit to the hospital is not good. He is home now. We are all managing, doing as best we can. We are okay. May we exist like a lotus at home in the muddy water, thus we bow to life as it is.
