Long Live!
Taylor Swift! Vancouver! AMAZING SHOW. I probably couldn't say enough good things about it. She put on a great show. Great singing, great musicians, great dancers, elaborate sets. It was beautiful.
I am really so glad I was able to go to this show. I've been a fan since she first came out, and feel like I've grown with her. I suppose, like most girls my age, I connect perfectly with her stories of love, heartbreak, anger, confusion, loss...the list goes on. Her songs have helped me cope in some of my lowest points. And she continues to bring some magic, and hope in love even with all the heartbreak. Literally cried when she first came out...maybe because it was "Sparks Fly" or maybe just that seeing her in person is like the culminating event in a long series of emotional trials, and I'm finally coming out the other end. Either way, I'm so happy! Love that girl. She's the cutest thing too; staring wonderstruck at the audience multiple times.
In this photo, we were able to get pretty close to her as she sang "Fearless" on the ukelele, "You Belong with Me," and "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning" for 9/11. Always remember.
Will you take a moment, promise me this
That you'll stand by me forever
But if God forbid fate should step in
And force us into a goodbye
If you have children some day,
When they point to the pictures
Please tell them my name.
Tell them how the crowds went wild
Tell them how I hope they shine.
Long live the walls we crashed through
I had the time of my life with you!
