I'm going to come back as a cat..
Radio alarm went off at 5.30am and the voice on the radio was promising transport disruption and rail cancellations from mid afternoon:-( thanks to the tail end of hurricane Katia.
I decided to wimp out & work from home...the memory of standing at Uphall station in May waiting for Mr R to rescue me during the last heavy winds was too much. Also, sitting in the office checking the Scotrail website every half hour does not make for a focussed day...been there, done that, got the t-shirt;-)
I also wimped out from cycling to yoga and hopped in the car...arrived in plenty of time though:-)
Having had a day working from home and observing these too...I've decided I'm coming back as a cat. They just find some comfy cushions and settle down to sleep...then they'll mosey on through and get fed...then they'll settle down to sleep again...what a life.
It's certainly a day for curling up and sleeping...weather has lived up to the early morning promises and has been awful. Hoping these winds die out soon:-/
We got our Es back today from Dalguise. She's had a ball, tackled every challenge they threw at her and managed them all...great achievement for our wee lass:-)
