The ties that bind

1. Prepared for the tail end of the hurricane, the morning starts disappointingly bland weather-wise. That changes mid-morning and the storm sets in. It's good to know they were right all along.

2. After the one email that I really needed finally arrived, I relax and pack up. I had no plan b. We head to Edinburgh for the event set up. It's a windy journey but filled with good blethers.

3. Once there and a bowl of tasty soup in us, Georgia arrives with her tapestry, which looks great and we all get to work.

4. These threads helped create our hand-made notepads for each delegate. The name tags are ribbons on kilt pins, the table decorations are giants bales of wool. Everything looks great.

5. Last night, just after midnight, I received such a lovely message. I'm right, I need to lighten up, find the bright side.
