Into the sun
A pilot once told me that he had the best job in the world because it didn't matter how cloudy and rainy it was at home - where he worked, it is always sunny.
It doesn't matter how many times I fly, I always love looking out the window. It is fantastic when you rise through the clouds on a grey, rainy day and see the sun again above the clouds. I never tire of that, and always regret not being early enough to get a window seat. It's even worse if the person next to the window doesn't appreciate the view or falls asleep.
Sleazyjet flight to Belfast for a fishing weekend on the River Mourne.
We fished in the afternoon and had a few bites, but nothing held on. The river was high after rain through the week. Salmon tend to hide in high water to avoid branches or stray shopping trolleys that get washed down in the flood.
