Howdy Partner!

Tonight my 2 girls started back at their Monday night church youth group "Genesis". And to celebrate the 1st Monday back after the summer holidays they had a "Western" themed party! So this is my eldest daughter Carys kitted out in some "cowgirl-like" apparel! Needless to say they had a fab time!
I was dreading going to work today but thankfully it didn't turn out to be as bad as I had expected and a concern of mine has now been resolved.
Hubby is into day 3 of his hike along the West Highland Way and it has proved to be a very arduous one to say the least! His pal Ian felt unwell this morning and after 6 miles could carry on no further so hubby carried on alone and totalled up 21 miles in torrential unabating rain and wind!! When he rang he had not long arrived at a youth hostel and had only just stopped shaking!! He was soaked right through, despite waterproofs and very very hungry. He said its all worth it but it doesn't sound like it to me!!!
His pal, Ian hopes to be well enough to join him again tomorrow but will have to ferry it across Loch Lomond to join him!! Needless to say, he's going to take it easy tomorrow
