''They'' were wrong...

''It'' was late. We took delivery of the tail end of the hurricane 12-24hrs later than I thought they'd prophesied(?) it yesterday.

So far as has been published, up here, there's one death due to a fallen tree and one roof of a part-built building squashed half a dozen parked cars.

Causes one to shudder at the thought of the ''Head'' end, if what we got was the ''tail'' of it.

The rain arrived this a.m. ''Pardon my French'' but it was pissing stair-rods.
The wind seemed to catch up with the rain about lunch-time and it gave way to a breezy afternoon which made the simple task of opening a factory door, almost, a two-man operation.

''They'' tell us there'll be more rain tonight... Bring it on, I'll be snug in bed.
