Ghost of Bannack

Today we went to one of my all-time favorite places on earth, a spiritual home for me, the ghost town at Bannack, MT. I haven't been here in several years and it's one of my favorite places to photograph. I did my black and white final project for photography school on it's time-warping-sensibility. Today it was cold, and my fingers were numbed. I worked with a tripod for the first time in years. I shot a roll of film and did TTV. In short, I tried to make the most of it. I think my favorite image from the day is this one though. I worked hard to get it...including tripping, tearing my favorite jeans and skinning my knee. It was worth it.
