Egypt.
Today we stopped in Safaga, and traveled onto Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. There are 62 magnificent tombs at the Valley of the kings, which were originally filled with many treasures for use in the afterlife by many dynasties of Pharoahs. All but one have been plundered and robbed, the exception being King Tut's, the boy king. Really wondrous place.
We also traveled to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Luxor and the Karnack Temple, where this photograph was taken. It is a 62 acre temple built over two millennia by generations of Pharaohs and dedicated to the God Amun.
Great day!!!!!!
