Look....Look....
I am OFF my lead, by the SEA!
Last night mum and daddy were feeling sorry for me because I haven't been allowed off my lead for nearly 2 weeks now because of my time of the year. They remembered that there is a secret beach near us that not many people go to, especially when the weather is bad like it has been! Also the only way onto the beach is down some really steep steps, so if anyone was coming mum could see and put me back on the lead straight away.
Soooooo....this morning we looked up the tide times and noticed it was IN, so I got to go SWIMMING! Yipppeeee!
Well, I actually didn't swim, I jumped in and out of the waves because they were REALLY big. There wasn't much beach left and it was covered in thick seaweed so I had a whale of a time rolling and wiggling in it to get dry *giggle*
Mum was trying very very hard to get a slow exposure shot of the waves on the rocks. She really wanted one of those shots where the waves look all blurry and soft but no matter how much she tried changing the aperture, changing the shutter speed and fiddling with the ISO she just couldn't get it. Everything was looking very over exposed. So any hints and tips would be gratefully received! If it means she needs a new camera like Kirstie's please can you write a note to daddy? ;-))
I kept getting a bit freaked out at things in the seaweed, there was a tin can, a piece
of grass and a wheel from a shopping trolley! I gave them all a good old woofing......
The waves were sooooooooo big, I was a bit scared of them and ran away which is not like me! I normally like to jump them but mum wasn't throwing my ball in very far to make sure I didn't get swept away!
It rained really badly whilst we were there so mum got as soaked as me. Now I am home and drying off on the sofa, hee hee!
Thanks mum, I have had a LOVELY morning.
Bye for now
